Our Mission
The mission of UCCA is to provide meaningful opportunities and dedicated development for all players. By participating in summer leagues, UCCA ensures that collegiate athletes have access to valuable experiences that foster their athletic growth and readiness for upcoming seasons.
Summer League Participation
UCCA encourages collegiate athletes to join summer leagues such as the WPSL and MWPL, which are designed to enhance player development. These leagues serve as a platform for athletes to sharpen their skills, gain competitive experience, and prepare for the demands of their fall seasons.
Season starts May 5 – July 31
Comprehensive Assistance for Players
UCCA is committed to supporting all players in need, making sure they have the resources necessary to train and compete effectively. The following forms of assistance are available:
• Housing: UCCA will arrange housing for players who reside more than 100 miles from Jefferson City and require accommodations. Players must provide the necessary documentation by March 30, 2026, to qualify for this support.
• Employment Opportunities: UCCA offers jobs through the Mid America Bank Sports Complex. Employment options include working in the Recreation program, assisting with camps, and supporting weekend tournaments for soccer, baseball, and softball.
• State-of-the-Art Facilities: UCCA provides access to a premier facility featuring four 11v11 fields, modern training equipment, and live streaming of all games.
• Expert Coaching: The WPSL team will be coached by Sammy Samuels, the Lincoln University Men’s Soccer Coach, and Theresa Biggs. The MWPL team will be led by Jon DeSha, Assistant Coach at Lincoln University and Head Coach of Helias High School Women’s team. Also joining the MWPL caoching staff is Adam Galla, Head Boys Coach at Central Methodist University and Brandon Russell, Head Boys Coach at Fr. Tolton Catholic High School and Assistant Men's Coach at Westminster College.
• Uniforms: UCCA will provide uniforms for the season. Uniforms will be checked out and returned when the season is complete. There is no cost for the uniform.
• Training shirts: Training shirts will be provided by UCCA at no cost. Training shirts will be presented at the beginning of the season, and they will be the players to take with them at season’s end.
• Gameday Wear: Additional gear will be provided to players that will be turned in at the end of the season. There are no gear costs, but the gear must be turned in at the end of each season.
Player Costs
Costs to the player:
1. League registration fee will range from $20-25, paid by the player.
2. Coaches fee will be $75 per player.
3. Total cost for league season is $100.00.
4. UCCA will preregister all players through PlayMetrics. Payments can be made via your account in the platform.
